Closed. Now a nightclub. I remember seeing Return of The Jedi here.

Now a chain of discount (TJ Maxx like) stores called Gordman's.

Used to be the place to go. Had a Sears, JCPenney, Gap...etc etc. Seems to have died after the opening of a new mall on the west side of town.

I had to go inside to see how bad it was.

It was sad. Clean, but sad. All Closed up. This used to be an Orange Julius. All that was there was a few foreign type shops, and a driver's license station.

I remember this old sculpture. The Mall did have lots of Mall Walkers getting their exercise.

Now a different Mexican Restaurant. It used to be such a treat for us to go here.

A catalog type store...kinda like Service Merchandise. LONG out of business. Now the building houses RV Sales.

Closed. Remember going here quite a few times watching my Dad & Uncle Bowl.

They used to have a Big fair here every fall. But they have since built a big ExpoCentre (which is Nice). Used to go into the fair through here. Nice that they left it up.

Seems to be undergoing renovation. I like that statue of the indian on the top of the dome. That's new.

Had to walk up here...can't drive up any further.

Long believed to protect Topeka from Tornados. Proven wrong in 1966, when a F5 tornado plowed right over it and went through the city.
